My thoughts on Fallout 4, and Episode 100 of MLP: FiM · 6:42pm Jun 3rd, 2015
So! This happened. It is GLORIOUS.
It's not a remake, it's a fully-fledged NEW FALLOUT GAME. The graphics look good (but don't they always?) and it kind of looks like they'll be doing sort of the Metro: Last Light thing, where we see some echoes of the past.
Now, some downsides: I spotted some stuff that means they're still using the same engine as they did for Fallout: New Vegas and Skyrim. Maybe an updated version, but still basically the same engine. It's also being made in-house, unlike Fallout New Vegas, which was made by Obsidian. So I don't anticipate a world-shattering story.
But, with all the Vertibirds zipping about, and the massive city shots, and the frigging rocket-boat, I think they've learned two things from Skyrim; A sense of scale, and how to use lighting more effectively. These are good things.
But! At the end of the day, you know what this means? More wonderful post-apocalyptic-ey goodness, and a massive surge of Fallout: Equestria stories. This makes me happy!

Now, on to the one-hundredth episode of Pony. It's been hyped a whole lot now. I've been trying to keep away from any real spoilers, but I heard "background ponies speaking" for sure.
I also saw this, which I think says a lot about our expectations.
Now, I'm not going to get into pros and cons like I did with Fallout 4. I'm just going to repeat a comment I made on that page, because, let's be honest, nobody reads the comment section on EQD.
Now, the real question is; If we (we as in being the fandom) get a bingo, do we win?
Or do we lose?
