First blog Post- Should I be worried about thumbs down? · 11:30pm May 30th, 2015
Well this is my very first blog post so the main point of topic for me to talk today is the Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down system.
My story, the Warhammer 40k fanfiction called Darkest Hours of Equestria, is one of my two stories that I own. The other has 6 thumbs up and only two thumbs down. But Darkest Hours of Equestria has 6 thumbs down and only two thumbs up. Should this be worrying?
At first, I think its a good system to see how good your story really is for others to see and that its kinda showing you how good your story is. But is it really that good? Another website that I use is Wattpad, and though I can give out that profile info later, the main info is about the like/voting system it has. It shows you who votes on your stories and I wish the same could be done for both the thumbs up and thumbs down because I personally wanna see these voters. If they voted good, I'll hope they have a good reason for it. If they voted thumbs down for it, I would personally like to ask them what I should do better with my stories or maybe because I wonder if I'm apparently missing something. I mean, Warhammer 40k is pretty straight forward when you own both the table-top and the multiple stories of it but its quite difficult to get it all down. It takes fellow players and nerds to help one another get things right, because lets be honest that there are die-hard fans who want every single detail right about something. If they did improve the voting system to include the profiles of voters, I think some people would appreciate it.
Well. this is my first blog and I feel like I covered a lot. Also, speaking of the Darkest Hours of Equestria, the only reason why I have been very late working on it, its the fact that my Wattpad profile has many stories that I am currently trying to finish up and its hard to manage both of these profiles at once. But I promise to eventually finish it before also posting some other fanfics.
