Luna's Lacunae · 12:36am May 28th, 2015
Is a story that seems to be telling itself. I just cranked out almost 3k words in a few hours with no rough drafts or previous planning. I just sat down, started typing, and the story just flowed from my fingers in what felt like (to me) natural progression.
It was weird. This doesn't happen to me very often. It does sometimes, but not very often, so it when it does happen, I tend to think of it as a special moment. I mean, I just typed, hammering away on my keys, and words just appeared on the screen as if by magic. I don't know if they are good words, but there is a story there waiting to be told it seems.
The Weed is also unplanned, but I have to work to coax the story out. Luna's Lacunae just seems to keep... flowing. I already feel inspired and I have more ideas coalescing in my mind right now as I type this blog post. This feeling is amazing. All my thoughts seem so light and airy. is this the opposite of burnout? I honestly do not know what I am feeling, but I like it.
I hope it lasts.
>3k words
>couple hours
Fuck it takes me a day just to do a paragraph.

I can crank out over 15k words in an 18 hour period. This is a mostly edited finished product too.
I wish you the best.
I am about to read the second chapter, the first was a delight.
In my opinion, that's how the good stories come about. You don't write them, they flow through you.

May your muse smile on you often.
Yay, I love this story! May the Muses continue to inspire you, and may your own creativity flow freer than a leaf on the wind. Also, this may be slightly off topic, but are any of those ideas related to Luna and Maeve's adventures in Tír na hÓige? Would love to see some of those actually written out. Maybe as an interquel? Eh, let the ideas come as they may.
Ooh, just noticed the new chapter!
*reads* Well, that was... dark, and also enlightening. There're some of the stories I asked for, and a whole bunch more questions along with it.
We told you all you needed was a break from planning. After awhile when you do get back to planning it will seem so natural.
