[WHOOOOOO intensifies]

I want to live next to a Disney theme park...

3064128 What would you say if I told you I only live an hour and a half from Disney World?

3064167 I would ask why you aren't stalking skirts spending a wonderful Tuesday there.

3064227 I would, but there's some stuff that's keeping me busy.

3064167 I used to live about an hour away from Disneyland when I was growing up.

Massive cheapstake.
Long lines.
No will to get a car.
Mildly terrified of driving, considering the amount of idiots that surround me (Google's self driving car tests reported someone reading a freakin' book while driving).

3064128 Trust me, you dont go as often as you think your gonna.

Especially since the price of admission is now about one hundred dollars, and anything you'd might buy inside, like food, is overpriced. Parking is extra.

I once got stuck at the top of the chainlift. The lights turned on and everything. When it finally started back up we rode it with them still on. There's a clearance of about a foot above my 6' self. It was the scariest two minutes of my life. I wouldn't put my hands up on that ride if you paid me.

I've lived an hour away for most of my life. If you get an annual pass (or even just a seasonal), it pays for itself in no time. Plus the full annual includes parking. And passholder discounts are great.

3067096 Huh. I didn't see an annual pass listed when I checked earlier. I see it now, though $549 and up is... well, that isn't for me. Still doesn't include parking (just raised to $17). The $779 passport does include parking.

I got stuck on it's a small world once. Not scary at all, just torturous. I'm willing to bet it was the inspiration for Twilight Sparkle: The Ride. :pinkiehappy:

3067096 i've got an annual pass for Universal (ducks and dodges flying butthurt), I'm not as well versed with Disney but I guess I will admit it pays for itself. I never really go to the park, just city walk for the Amc theatre mostly.

3067608 No butthurt from me, I think Universal Studios, Citywalk, and IOA are awesome. It's just, for different people and different moods. I will always have a bias towards Disney, because the first time I ever went there was at two weeks old and I haven't stopped since.
