PSA: If you get a "Fic faved" notification from me. Also, status

Two things.
One: I now have 253 fics in my favorites, and its getting to be a bitch to sort through just trying to find what I'm looking for. To that end, I am currently in the process of organizing my faves into several different bookshelves. My reason for posting this announcement is that whenever I move a fic into a public bookshelf, that author is likely to be informed of it as me faving their fic again. Not that I don't squee whenever the author to my new favorite fic thanks me for faving their work (seriously, I love this community) but I would feel guilty if they feel they have to thank me for something I didn't do.
Second: This one is for whoever is watching me. My one fic has been inactive for 2 years now, and I think it's time to stop kidding myself (and some very strange yet loveable people who are still somehow watching me): I'm done with the writing thing. I'm sorry. If you want, I can email you all the ideas I had for the fic (I basically had the most skeletal-looking outline that stretched through to the Phantoka saga), if you're just curious how it would have played out. But yeah, I don't think I'm cut out to be a writer. That said, I've been a part of the FiMfiction community for, like, 2.5 years, and I'm still an avid reader. And I think, hey, if I like this fic, then a lot of others probably will too. So if someone wants to follow me just to find out about good fics, then hey, power to them. I might even decide to make a blog post every two weeks talking about what fics I've read recently and why I liked them. Whatever.
Like, for instance, of the last ten fics I've faved, over half of them are about Sunset Shimmer. I like fics that expand my headcannon about a character who is an absolute joy to read about/watch in the movies (Sunset Shimmer best human).
Firebird Dahlia: I haven't seen a lot of fics that flesh out Sunset Shimmer's pony family. Most just play the orphan card or the absent workaholic parents so they don't have to write about complicated feelings that would pull her away from the human world. However, I really like the idea that Sunny came from a pegasus family. It gives her a better reason for wanting to be an alicorn than just power.
In the Gloaming: A slice of life oneshot about Sunny, Tia, and instant messaging (complete with popcorn).
Principal of Equestria: In which getting best princess to make up with Sunny second priority to second-best-human/principal can't even.
The Witch of Everfree: I love AU Shimmer Fics in which she stays in Equestria. They serve as a nice reminder of exactly why she made Tia's personal student in the first place. That and I'm an unrepentant pyromaniac with a soft spot for snarky protagonists.
