This was well written, but kind of scattershot. Seemed to be less focused than it could have been. Not to mention a little more setting up the characters involved. Still worth a read, I’d recommend it. If you don’t mind a somewhat typical shipping fanfic that is.
Awakening by solocitizen

This was surprisingly good. Not to mentioned it ended much too soon. The beginning did a good job introducing the character and the universe the story takes place in. The chapters alternate present events and flashbacks to the main character’s foalhood, and it is one of the best executions of that particular trick that I’ve run across. The pacing suffers a little in the middle, but the ending was satisfying. Except for I wanted the story to keep going. This is a great first quarter of a grand pony space adventure.
Twilight's First Time by mr maximus

Meh, this was too much build up for a joke that is barely stretched in the story description. In stories there is coy implications for comedy’s sake and there is just lying to the reader. I would put this in the latter category. The writing wasn’t all that great either.
Don't Feel by ArgonMatrix

This was fairly well written and got me a little in the feels, but I have to say it isn’t my favorite season 4 finale reaction fanfic. As much as it made sense, and as well as the author pulled it off, I just don’t think Twilight would react that way. Still, decently high quality stuff.
Loving the Sunny Skies by Midnight Words

I really wanted to like this one. I enjoy workplace slice of life and comedies involving the royal guards. The idea of Sunny Skies as Princess Celestia’s niece seemed like a fun twist. However, the writing was, well, not so good. Bad enough that I only got halfway through before giving up.

If you are an author who wants a more detailed review of a story I've covered feel free to message me. My reviews tend to be fairly light, mostly just reactions to a story right after reading it. I am happy to give a more careful read and reply to anyone who wants more precision and/or feedback.
