Art Cover Stuff and Walking Down Memory Lane

So, hey everyone (or anyone who still follows me, lol)! Wow, FiMFiction has changed quite a bit since I last got on here... jeez, like, two year ago? Yeah, time certainly flies!

Anyways, I just thought I should make a blog post for the people who keep on messaging me about wanting an art cover for their writing pieces...

Not sure if my opinions are much valid anymore, being off the loop for awhile, but thought I might as well give my two cents on the matter... not that I even paid that much to see it!

    ANYWAYS, the movie.

Back from the Dead (sorta) and Talking Bout Snowdrop/Double Rainboom... Among Other Things...

    I suppose I only came on here to get some insight from fellow followers from the fandom. No, it's not a personal problem, but actually about two projects that have come out in the last month;

-Double Rainboom, a 28 minute long fan-made episode which is supposed to mimic the quality of the series.

Art Cover Stuff and Walking Down Memory Lane · 12:43am Apr 20th, 2015

So, hey everyone (or anyone who still follows me, lol)! Wow, FiMFiction has changed quite a bit since I last got on here... jeez, like, two year ago? Yeah, time certainly flies!

Anyways, I just thought I should make a blog post for the people who keep on messaging me about wanting an art cover for their writing pieces...

-I am a WRITER.
-I do not do ART.

Please look elsewhere for your artistic needs. For some reason, despite my inactivity and solely writing work, I still get quite a lot of art cover requests (I have no clue why to be very honest) and there are PLENTY of better artists out there on the net that would help you out much better than I would. Below are some artists that have done covers and/or do pony artwork that I personally love and enjoy:

=FoxInShadow --Potential NSFW--
=Ask Google Chrome
=Veggie55
=Rai
=Beaty

With that out of the way, I just wanted to reminisce on my stories and my time on here a little bit, if you would all let me... It's probably going to be a chunk of writing, just letting you all know now!

I suppose the one I should talk about first would be 'I Hate Ponies!' and all that... hullabaloo. Jeez, I really want to take the entire thing and rewrite it all, make it something better than it should have been instead of the self-indulgent pity party I made it. I guess taking some time away from your previous works does help a lot, doesn't it? That whole argument with the one person who criticized my work... Man I just want to forget it but I really needed it in actuality. I should have listened to him more and instead of getting butthurt. I believe they call this "maturity", but who the hell knows nowadays, heh!

Let The Raindrop was one I just re-read... one of my first "exploratory" pieces to be honest. I wanted to try something the expanded just normal story format and, although it didn't the best in view, one of my prouder pieces, oddly enough.

Handcuffed to Pinkie Pie (god I wish I chose a better title...), that was another piece that popped up rather heavy on the views for no good reason. Honestly, one of the pieces I didn't really like and tried to continue, but... Pinkie Pie. I just don't do good with Pinkie. She's much more of a struggle than most for some reason. Maybe now I could revisit her but jeez, the song writing I tried to do... -shivers-

Our Technology, Our Culture was one of those spur of the moment pieces that I think I probably could have done more with but never did. Literally done out of a "challenge" of sorts, I went full steam ahead on that story, though thinking about it now, Equestria Girls kinda overshadows the concept, hm? Maybe not so much, but that was an interesting time.

After reading a bit of Fallout: Equestria, I immediately wanted to try and do something like it. So, naturally, I thought my gritty, dystopian fic would be smashing, right? Wrong. Money and Justice was one of my least viewed pieces in fact, though I loved writing every bit of it. Actually looking back on it, it IS my least viewed story... by a couple hundred views! Seems to be the trend in my writing, that the stuff I like less tends to be the most popular. Maybe thats just how being a writer is?

Ah... well, thats enough remembering... So much good times on here. Who knows? This summer I may come back (no promises as I most likely won't), but it felt really nice to remember some of my old stories and take a step back, seeing how much I've changed.

Well, I think I have anyways.
