Multiple times in the past I've received requests to explain various parts of my first MLP fic (and now Necro Walk as well), and now I'm finally getting to that. So, ask me a question regarding the stories, and I'll do my best to answer it.
To start off, however, (although I'm guessing many of my readers have already figured this out) for the most part when I write, I'm just making it up as I go along. As new ideas occur to me, I write them (and sometimes delete them or go back and change them if I find I don't like the road it's taking me down) into the story and then fill in the blank spaces in between and hopefully include an explanation or two so as to make sense of what I write.
Also, I am sorry to say that at the time I said I'd try drawing the serpentine Dragons we had a working scanner and that is no longer the case. Not two days after I said that I'd give that a shot so as to provide a better image than simple imagination, it broke down and we got a cheaper, less-useful replacement that does not include a scanner. I can still try using Microsoft Paint, if you life, but I've got to warn you, I usually suck with it.
Anyway, pick my brain. I'll get back to you when I can.
i like both versions of the ends for the Last Mage, and i'll agree that i think he should show up on the alternate mythica. but, i don't see the meat eating Gaians as having much tech, mostly i pictured them as having a sort of tribal society. but that's just my opinion. also i was kind of skeptical about the other ending with doctor whooves, mainly because it's been so overdone. but, i'm liking what i'm seeing so far, except i have one qualm and that is; seriously daleks? ah well that's enough of me ranting carry on good sir and, sorry that this wasn't much of a question.
Well, (To Necro Walk) I did start chapter two over again which means I could take it in another direction as far as tech level goes, and you do indeed make a valid point. Beyond perhaps the Dark Ages it is very likely that they'd not advance particularly much when what they already have works just fine if only to keep hunting fun.
I've kinda stalled on that one for the moment, so if anybody else has any other suggestions (or point-outs) to it feel free to list them. We'll see.
To the Daleks, my reasoning for choosing them was posted as a comment after the intro, and yes, I really did wish there was something less used that was just as hard to kill.
There probably was if I used something from the older seasons, but i haven't watched a lot of those.

Some of you may be wondering at the names that I chose for Celestia's father and uncle (I haven't come up for one for her mother yet) even if you choose not to voice that curiosity.
Originally, when I named Thanatos, I had recalled that there was a creature in a game I had played (I don't remember its name now) where a grim reaper-type thing rode on a horse came after me. The enemy was called Thanatos, and since Thanatos in Last Mage was undead I felt it rather fitting. Later on I looked up the name to see its origins, and found out that its name meant 'Gentle Death' and it was the name for an ancient deity. Rather fitting, don't you think (given that the Alicorns sisters seem to be thought of as gods in the show)?
Mantle, Celestia and Luna's father, though he's played almost no role in any of my fics so far (other than having died in all three
) still received a name of meaning. Mantle, was given his name because he was the both the father of Luna and Celestia, and was the first Alicorn King.
