I love Disney, reading, writing, and of course, PONIES! As an English major I hope to improve in my writing skills and can't wait to publish. In the meantime, I will be happy just to read what's here.

    I'M BA-ACK!!!!!!!! (sorta)

So some of you may or may not have noticed I've been missing from this site for quite some time. At first it was mostly due to the traditional Catholic ritual of Lent, so I have to limit my time out here. Then there was also my need to stay away from political action for awhile, which I make the mistake of getting involved with. Then I got... get ready for this... a JOB! :pinkiehappy:

    Hello again!

I've been away for quite some time. School has been a lot busier than I intended, and even before I started again this semester... I think I've just been losing interest around here.

    I'm So Bored...

My last blog was 3 months ago. I dunno, there's not much for me to write about, at least that I feel like sharing with the world. Writing progress? Still slow. I need to figure out how to push myself. I genuinely want to write and tell stories, but sometimes my concentration is on par with Dory from Finding Nemo. Who, by the way, is officially my spirit animal after some careful consideration

    Today 21 years ago...

Dad: Good morning, sweetie. How are you this morning?
    Mom: Honey, my water broke.
Dad: (laughs) Great way to start the day, right?
Mom: No, really... I think it's coming. Today.
    Dad: ...

And now here I am.

    Christmas 2015 recap

Hey, so sorry I wasn't here yesterday, but I had a pretty good Christmas season, and I hope you guys did too. So where was I that kept me away from the internet for so long? Mostly hanging with family- and cooking. Lots... and lots.. of cooking. Some highlights of the Christmas experience for me this year:

And we're back! · 3:39am Apr 13th, 2015

Not really much to discuss for now. Well, actually, I'm one year away from getting into bars, so there's that, I guess. And I'm making progress on my writing, my winter quarter grades weren't as sucky as I thought they would be (still think I could have done better in Brain biology though :ajsleepy:), and I've got a ton of reading to catch up on, both actual books and fanfictions that have been sitting on my bookshelf for a LONG time.

I've also begun streaming "Breaking Bad" and "Buffy". I tried to start watching "Saved by the Bell" but I could NOT get past the first 2 minutes. I don't understand why, I just... couldn't. And I managed all 8 seasons of "Full House". Not sure what happened. :applejackunsure: I've also finished "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" (my first Netflix exclusive series) and "Dinosaurs"- wow, WOW, that ending was depressing. :fluttercry:

At some point I'm hoping to get around to "Orange is the New Black," "The Office," "How I Met Your Mother" (If I can get past the fact that I know how it ends :twilightangry2:) and "3rd Rock from the Sun." At this rate I'll have more shows I'm devoted to on streaming than currently airing on TV- which I still depend on for Disney cartoons, Late Night shows, "Big Bang," and "Young & Hungry." And I still have the rest of Spring quarter to take care of, so we'll see how much I can squeeze in.

Plus I have to factor in creating some sort of exercise schedule and getting a social life together, so...

Glad to hear some news from you. I hope your writing is going well too.

Also, TV Series streaming ? What online platform takes care of that ? I never heard of such a thing.

I meant like what platforms like Netflix, Amazon and Hulu use where they put out an entire season of a show, and so viewers binge watch at their leisure. I'm a bit mixed on the concept itself- I'm used to having a week or so to speculate new episodes, but I DID find myself wanting to finish "Kimmy Shmidt" ASAP. So there's that advantage. :yay:
