Hey every pony,
I got a chance to watch the season 5 premiere, and you know how I've been going on and on about how Starlight Glimmer is like Maxpsell in my story. Well, after doing some comparing, I was able to find a few similarities between the two, which is good!
The only thing that was similar were their crazy angry attitudes, their powerful magic, and their beliefs on leadership.
Other than that, they're pretty much different. Starlight believes in equality for all in a very bad way while Maxspell merely wants to change the ways Equestria is run by making it more of a dictatorship.
I'm still a little ticked off about the similarities, but at least I can finally feel a little better about all this. However, this not over yet! Starlight will return, and that's when we'll truly see if she's the same or different from Maxspell.
Overall, I enjoyed the premiere and I can't wait to see what this season has in stored for us. So until next time!

The thing I noticed about Starlight Glimmer was that she was another magical talent with a name similar to Twilight's. First Sunset Shimmer, and now Starlight? Something is going on here, and I hope it's not just lazy naming. I think we may see more shiny nighttime villains in the future, and I have no idea what it could mean.
You're telling me. When I heard "Magic Items", I went crazy because I came up with that idea about a week or two ago.
