Dear Princess Celestia, I believe I have found the answers we have been searching for with the aid of your notes. Trixie, the formerly Beatrix Lulamoon, was a mare troubled by a family that ignored her even as her growing talent drove her towards confusion and eventually quite possibly madness.

Build: Still mostly healthy, but with all the recent chaos in her life, she has clearly eaten poorly and lost considerable weight, likely to be bordering on starvation.**
Hair: Pale Cornflower Blue with nearly white-blue streaks.
Horn: Brilliant Azure
Eyes: Dark Violet/Gray
Cutie Mark: Crescent Moon crossed by a wand. Located behind her left ear.

Occupation: Former Student at SSU
Scars or accessories? Physical, none known at this time. Mentally however? The abandonment by her parents after she fled SSU likely did great damage, not to mention her apparent ability to read others minds. The trauma has already surfaced in small ways, including but not limited to her habit of speaking in the third person.****
Close relationships: Unknown. Her parents disowned her when she went to them for support, and she had few relatives that lived anywhere close to Canterlot. Perhaps the only ponies she spent more than a month or two with were Sunset Shimmer and myself.
Personality: Unknown. When I knew her in school she craved attention, acted out and challenged anypony. However, this was all done with a playful nature and never with sadistic aims. Perhaps the result of her craving attention her parents didn't offer?******
Skills and Quirks:
Talent Borrowing – Somehow, her talent allows her to borrow the talents of other ponies, even those much stronger than herself. She appears to be limited only on time (unable to borrow another for more than a few minutes at a time) and distance (unable to borrow talents from a distance of as of yet determined to any specific measurement), and then she is unable to borrow from the same pony again for a few hours. Because of my limited sample size, I would be hesitant to estimate limits for fear of somepony being harmed. If nopony nearby is available for her to borrow, she is virtually powerless. Perhaps she has never fully developed control over her own natural magic?
Taxing Power – Whatever the limits of her talent, it is clear there is a cost. She repeatedly got nosebleeds, and was even coughing blood while using her magic, leading me to only one conclusion: a side effect of the stress on her body must be the cause of these ill effects.
Broken Family – Going on the two reports from the guards in Canterlot, it’s clear her family had some kind of a falling out when she went to them for help. Without a more personal interview, I will leave it at this.
Edge of Sanity – With all of her rambling words, It’s possible she might have been pushed past the edge of sanity. Half of what she said still doesn’t make any sense, and she was constantly looking at people who were not there. I fear this all may have broken her.
Lost – This is my fault. We have lost her. I can only hope we find her again.
* - Considering her height and build back during school, she would probably weigh around 148-155 if properly fed.
** - At school she had a slightly more athletic build, likely related to her time with the dance and theater groups.
*** - This is an estimate for identification purposes only. Besides, with her recent weight-loss, it's likely this number may be inaccurate.
**** - I clearly need to research further on psychotherapy, the working of a pony’s mind is clearly a complex but fascinating matter
***** - It's certainly possible that this should have served as foreshadowing to events that followed.
Conclusion: It is my belief she may still be willing to come back to Equestria, if we approach her with great care. To that, I request permission to take over any future attempts to investigate where she went and what she has done. This includes some training with Princess Cadence, or anypony she might suggest as an acceptable alternative she selects to teach me some form of counseling or psychotherapy.

I see. Well, honestly, F14mrz sent me here (yeah, I know him), since I only recently tried the series. And honestly, I threw this profile together with the sole intention on complimenting your work. I'm sure I'm not going to be the first or last, but I must say that you've done amazingly, woven your own world both like and unlike the source material, far beyond the mere genderswap one might expect. The plot is both compelling and intriguing, and I can't help but find this far more interesting than the series it's inspired by, perhaps because of its more mature storytelling and compelling narrative.

It was a major goal when I started this story to make it a deeper longer more mature idea then the really frustrating stories that bearly even skimmed over the potential content avalible in the universe, even with the harem genre streamlining a lot of the content. No, more seriously, yeah, I'm a junkie for a lot of stories and while I've never read the original Siegfried and Fafnir story, I've read a ton of the related works and the spin off stories. It's a fantastic amount of fun, and I hope you'll like Dusk in a bit of a military situation.
