Judging by how "Interference"'s relative success, I guess the less time I spend on something, the more popular it will be in this fandom.
I give up. Someone hand me a drink.
How did you find your way here? Nobody here but us ghosts.

I know exactly how you feel my friend. The quality of most stories on the MLP section of Fanfiction is depressing. Most of these poorly done stories are extremely popular in comparison to the concentrated stories they've buried.

Yeah, I've noticed that too, both in effort given, and in actual time spent. Something that I can crank out in two to three days (regardless of subject) will generally garner more attention than something that takes me several weeks or months to do. It's very confusing when not outright irritating.
it's not the time you spend on it, it's the premise of the story, you picked a very good one
What Karrakaz said
The premise of the story (and the story itself) is what attracts attention.
I also think that a majority of people on the internet have short attention spans, and thus prefer short and simple stories.
BULLSHIT you didn't convince me.
Good story though.
