D&D Live Stream Fun Time · 11:53pm Mar 15th, 2015
Hey there all my followers, and those following Bloodlines. If you've bothered to read past the title, you'll find this is exactly what the title says it is. I'm part of a group who are going to begin streaming our game of Ponyfinder, that is, Dungeons & Dragons with ponies! This is indeed related to my last blog post, and its relation to Bloodlines? Well, they're both Pathfinder, and it was stuff Neal made for Pathfinder that inspired Bloodlines. It makes sense!. And now, to shamelessly rip off the posts of the others in the group:
I'm going to be streaming a Pathfinder RPG game, run by the delightfully talented Alanith on Youtube at 7pm EST tomorrow, 3/16. It'll feature excitement, adventure, drama, mystery, action, romance and grown men pretending to be ponies on the internet for your amusement!* If you wanted to stop by and watch me make a damn fool of myself, go right ahead! The more the merrier, refreshments will be served at 6:55 sharp, and those of you in the first five rows... you WILL get wet.
Anyways the background thus far is, long story short: that the group are various adventurers in the world of Eden (A home-brewed fantasy setting Alanith made) and just happening to meet in the small town of Bridleford when they all decided to answer the same job on an Adventurer's board. So why not work together? If only they knew of the dark forces assembling in the town, ready to overthrow the Equatine Empire...
Our group is:
Aria (Web of Hope): the young pegasus mare who threw a tantrum after finishing bard training and became a run away noble, wandering around like a vagabond rather than doing something REAL with her life like Daddy wanted.
Heaven's Ward (Nealend86), the pony-blooded Aasimar and Paladin of the Caretaker (Goddess Fluttershy with the serial numbers filed off), a healer and stallion of peace, currently trying to keep the student of an old friend of his from drinking herself to death.
Skull Splitter (Me!): The Student in question, a Monk and orphaned Earth pony mare, drunken lout and bar fighter extraordinaire, drifting through life from job to job till she found she could earn money by beating ponies up with her hooves. What an age we live in!
And finally, Wild Wind (Aurucite): male Thestral Druid, child of the forests and master of the storms. Not terribly experienced with civilization and all that 'society stuff'.
So come along and watch, and have fun with us being silly and pretending to be ponies. Think about it; I'll be there, and I'm Australian. Assuming most of you aren't, you can get your fill of delicious foreign accent hearing AND the fun of ponies beating each other up. Oh, and there's a Canadian too, I suppose.
You could have said it would take a day before this happens. Cause seriously it's going to take forever to watch your shenanigans.
2881144 *cough*
Well, hopefully you can endure the wait and watch us being ridiculous tomorrow! I know I can't wait!
2881152 Sorry didn't notice that part and either way I have a right to complain since I want to hear you and a few friends just be ridiculous and laugh.
2881159 Oh trust me, we will be ridiculous. Hopefully you'll laugh. Considering I'm playing an earth pony monk who spent 80% of my starting gold on the various types of alcohol from the Pathfinder SRD...well, let's say I'm sure events are going to take an amusing and likely violent turn at some point.
2881164 Apparently your going to play a drunken master...and also apparently be drunk during the entire venture.
Is monk your favorite class in a pathfinder, or did you just feel it fit the group better?
2883077 J mostly wanted to play a Drunken Master archtype monk so my character could beat people up while powered by booze.
2883370 Ah, I see. So, what is your overall favorite class? Mine is a contest between cleric, paladin, and witch, so I pick what fits the group the best out of that.
