'Kay, how about some kind of update?

For those of you wondering just what the hell I'm doing and why am I not releasing an update to Cooking Floor yet, I've got a wide spread of news that oscillates between good and bad.

Near the good side, we have good news. Next chapter is in the works. That's for definite. The thread of the story is laid out and all it needs is writing.

Sort of in between good and bad news is the following; I have a new story that was too good to pass up on writing. That's also in the works. Unfortunately, as with any new story idea, I'm more motivated to write it, which in turn pushes back my other projects (such as the Cooking Floor chapter mentioned above). Furthermore, I'm not entirely sure this fic is suitable for Fimfiction. Why? The characters do not actually meet any ponies. In fact, it involves a bare minimum of ponies whilst still being of a pony theme. As such, I'm not sure it'll pass this site's firm policies. I guess I'll have to upload it eventually and find out.

Now we come to the bad side of news. Yes, it may be summer for a lot of us, but unfortunately I have been thrown some extra work that I need to get done. That, and a whole bunch of other distractions (why is Dota 2 so much fun) are going to make story writing even more labourous. Rest assured, I'm not somebody who gives up. I'm just somebody who has trouble with motivation.
