Arguing with myself

Is it a good or bad thing when your characters start arguing with you?

Aiedail: Maybe, but there are people that are going to dislike it if you start jumping across time and space and make yourself a Looper or an Anchor. Plus, there's the lovely chance of you getting banned from yet another website

I'm starting to think it's a running gag the universe has against me at this point...anyway he'd be an Anchor for a fanfiction of an alternate universe with no ties to canon
