A new Tale from the Phoenix Empire is off to the Pre-readers · 1:40am Feb 20th, 2015
I'm going to be on vacation for the next week or so, and thus I'm handing out some extra material out of my backlog to the pre-readers.
In this installment: Fluttershy in the Phoenix Empire, allowing me to finally get that achievement for PoVing all of the Mane 6. Granted, Pinkie only got one scene...
I'm looking forward to it.
Oh Pinkie I am still sad about that.
I must say, Pinkie's single scene had quite the impact.
I mean, a pony's bones must be pretty strong to deal with the amount of crashing Rainbow does, or to survive anvils and pianos being dropped at terminal velocity. That projectile needed to have some oomf behind it to penetrate Pinkie.
This'll be interesting.
On a related tangent...
Watched the finale of Two and a Half Men tonight... I think at one point they dropped the name of every chapter of Winning Pony in order.
4th wall was smashed to smithereens, and they looked at the camera more times than Jon Krasinski.
And naturally, like most overhyped series finales, the ultimate ending was lame and confusing.
But there were definitely laughable moments.
Oh, man! I'm excited! I wonder what will you have done with FLutters.
2813327 Crossbows do have quite the 'oomf'
2813327 2813670 Considering that crossbows were originally invented to counter steel plate armor, they do indeed oomf quite well.
Have a nice holiday, going any where nice?
i am not convinced that pinkie pie was taken down. earth ponies are made of stern stuff, though considering everyone inexplicably knows who the mane six are in this universe, it seems like she would get special priority anyway. besides, you cannot kill what you think is already dead.
unless you are working with some kind of thought that there would be compatible alternate element bearers, which i guess is debatable, though it seems unlikely that either nightmare moon or sunbeam could find the mane six if there were more. they would find someone and think them the element bearer they seek.
if it is neither, well sunbeam is doomed......... there really is no other outcome i can see there all things considered. least i can see, and i thought hard on this.
even if for some perhaps contrived reason sunbeam could match nightmare moon, nightmare moon could simply return and not attack sunbeam. in her attempts to rid the world of threats, all she did was give nightmare moon tools that, in celestia's equestria, did not exist. no nation is conquered peacefully. for every nation being ruled by a tyrant, the majority likely were taken over by force.
the enemy of my enemy is my friend. by making the world, and even her own ponies, her enemy, sunbeam has made the world nightmare moon's friend.
........... and if i had already mentioned this before, forgive me there. cannot remember if i mentioned anything like this or i was simply rehearsing the lines enough to put into this post..........
