Hearth's Warming Con panel! · 10:01pm Feb 8th, 2015
Hey everyone!
Just popping in to say I'll be having a panel at Hearth's Warming Con, all about writing, together with Hyfnae and Rarity Belle, two other Dutch authors! For details, you can check the News and Programme -> Hearth's Warming Day sections on the Con website.
It's going to be on February 21st, from 12:00 to 13:00. If you're at the con, come say hi and/or tell me to get back to writing already! I'm slowly learning how to deal with all this anxiety disorder nonsense, and while functioning as a productive member of society isn't in the immediate future yet, I really should get back to writing. What better way to start than having a talk at a panel, right? I'm going to talk about the fun bits of writing, like getting started, making characters, all that sort of stuff. And of course, how to best insert changelings, because a fic can never have a large enough changelings-to-ponies ratio. Well, okay, it can, under certain circumstances, but never mind that. Exception confirms the rule and all that jazz.
God I'm looking forward to this, stupid mood swings notwithstanding. Of course, I'm likely to be a huge dork, but hey, when am I ever not? In the meantime, I have to do a lot of important stuff and definitely not slack off by playing video games. Dragon Commander is really good at proving that I'm absolutely terrible at strategy games :C
And so it shall begin... The panel will tremble before us! That, or something else will happen we have no control over...

Ooh, I have that too! Really, the secret is to just build dreadnoughts and capture control points. The armies are rather undiversified, but you get to marry a princess, run a kingdom and turn into a dragon, so hey! Still a win!
