A question concerning story lengths and chapters. · 12:23am Feb 6th, 2015
So I have a question to those of you who read To House Sirens.
I'm making good progress in terms of writing the first sequel story and I am now sure that this story will be longer than the first one. My question to you guys is would prefer to have just one long chapter or have me split the story into smaller chapters? If the story would be broken down into smaller chapters then I would most likely publish them all at the same time, it'd be the complete story at once. Then again if there are those of you who want me to publish the chapters individually then I would be okay with that.
Personally I would like to publish it all as just one chapter like the first one but I'm more or less flexible.
Me personally would like one chapter
How big a single chapter we talkin' here? Like, 20k words?
2772863 In all honesty I'm at about 3k words and I'm still in not even close to finishing the intro. My guesstimate right now is that the finished story will probably be at around 10k words or higher.

Aw that ain't so big; one chapter would be fine. IMHO when you start getting up over 20k that's the territory you need to start looking into separate chapters.
2773333 Yeah, I kinda figured that. I'm just used to putting out chapters that are around 4k in length. Thank you for the advice.
