So I saw that Skeeter and Abcron created this blog thing, and I thought I would give it a go. So, to start things off... the rules!

-Make a blog post in February
-You need to make a post concerning something FIM fanfiction related that you love and wouldn't normally talk about
-You need to mention why you love it.
-You need to use #FebFIMFanFicLove in the title and any social media posts that you make.
-You need to look into something someone else posted that you see with #FebFIMFanFicLove, after all it's about sharing the love.
-No spam/limit posts to once a week tops.

So, what do I love about FIMFic? Hmmm...

Well, to be quite honest, I love the community. So far everyone I have talked to has been supportive and encouraging. Even when someone doesn't like what I've posted, 'negative' comments are generally "Not my thing, you could improve x and y, good luck in the future!" I honestly don't think I've gotten anything worse than that. I'm sure there are probably trolls and jerks on here (there are bad apples everywhere), but FIMFic seems to be full of people willing to help others out. Be it with editing or style, or even just a quick little encouraging word.

And then when I posted that blog post forever and a day ago discussing why I decided I needed a hiatus... the way you guys gathered around me and gave me support... well, this isn't the sort of thing I generally admit but it brought tears to my eyes. (Don't worry guys, the good kind). After being around so many people who's general response to things was "Suck it up" for most of my life, it was great to have people I consider friends be so supportive.

I mean, there's other things that I love about FIMFic, but that is probably my #1 thing. Maybe I'll come back and discuss more, but I'm already running seriously behind.

Seriously though, I love you guys!
