I Guess I'm Going to Write a New Short Story

So I need to practice writing short stories as a medium, and figured it'd be easiest to do some ideas I've had for a while on here. I'll probably do one with RariLuna and maybe a couple others. Just simple stories, really. Nightmare Nights Was Fun

Well, went to Nightmares Nights. Didn't really meet anyone who knew me, but meh. Had fun with my partners, Kyli (Suphustar in the fandom) and Chris (not in the fandom at all), in every sense of the word. Every. Sense. Also, in general it was nice. Don't know, but maybe I'll write a short story or two/shipfic for funsies. Who knows?

Nightmare Nights

So, for once, I'll actually be attending a con. Not exactly because it was my idea, but my girlfriend wanted to take me to it, so I agreed to go. That means that I'll be attending Nightmare Nights in Addison, Texas, from October 23-25. Should be fun, and maybe I'll see some people I know there. When the Changelings attacked for a second time, pony rule in Equestria was reduced to Canterlot, ruled temporarily by Twilight Sparkle. Inside the castle walls, Twilight and her subjects have managed to hold on against Chrysalis' hordes, but they can only last for so long.
Sweetie Belle, loyal servant to Princess Twilight and the only adept political mind the ponies have, is sent overseas to unknown lands, in hopes of recruiting other nations to fight for Equestria. However, when things go awry, Sweetie Belle finds herself lost in a new land with new allies, foes, and what might be the only thing that can save Equestria: dragons.

Also, just wanted to say, a big thanks to everyone who has stuck around with me to this story. It seems hard to believe, but exactly five months ago I was stuck in a mental hospital after attempting to take my own life, thinking that my life was over and I would never achieve anything again. It's been a long road, and a hard one, and I haven't seen the end of it yet, but I like to think that I am starting to get back some of what I lost. I also know that I couldn't have done it without the support of many of my friends and fans, who have kept me going through it all.

So, for that, I dedicate Here Be Dragons to all of you, who have helped make the story, and my own life, better. Thank you.
