We're back... but it's likely slow going.

So, in answer to the MANY people who keep asking when i'm going to update any of my fics despite my having a blog that explains WHY they've ALL been left unupdated over the last 3-4 months, my library is open again, so i should be able to finally get back to writing.

a few things · 4:51am Jan 14th, 2015

First of all, a few gripes with several shows, one being hasbro related but not pastel.

Now, i love Transformers the Movie (the Anime one), but, after watching Transformers Season 3, parts of the movie were just pointless. Perfect example, and one that had transformer fans in an uproar when it happen, killing off Optimus Prime.

Yes, the big one, which led to Hot Shot become Rodimus Prime and the new leader of the Autobots. It was a complete waste of time because, towards the end of Season 3, Optimus comes back and resumes leadership. What a load of bull?!

And then there's Galvatron. In the movie he has a commanding, intimidating voice (done by Leonard Nimoy) that even outshone megatron and made me really look forward to further time with this character. However, sadly, despite Frank Welker's great work as Megatron, his galvatron voice during the whole of season 3 is horrible and, rather than giving a feeling of intimidation, just made me want galvatron to have less and less lines every episode he was in.

Not to mention, galvatron is just boring in season 3. he's insanity was just a cope out and made him just not worth it as a villain anymore for me.

My next gripe is about a series that squealed the Lilo and Stitch series, both movies and tv show. Stitch! is a series in which our favorite blue alien crashes on an island somewhere in japan, with no explination as to why he isn't still on Kawaii with Lilo, Jumba and Pleakely. Jumba and Pleakely also happen to arrive there, Jumba after crash landing on an asteroid that Pleakely has crash on after apparently having left kawai for whatever reason two weeks ago, though time seemed to move faster for pleakly due to something to do with a black hole (don't ask, i still haven't figured it out).

Stitch, after crashing on the island, meets a girl named Yuna who lives with her grandmother, who takes Stitch in because... I honestly have no idea why, she just does. he then spends the next two seasons (yes, they made two seasons of this) with Stitch doing good deeds so that the island's Spiritual Stone will grant him a wish.

This wish turns out to be to return to the island after he saves the universe because he's realized his place and family are with Yuna.

Yes, i know, we're acting like Lilo doesn't exist here, right? Well, that's kind of a running theme. SOmetimes it seems Stitch has told Yuna things about Lilo and most of the time it's like she never existed, not even Jumba or Pleakly saying anything about her.

And i will get back to that after i explain the other running theme of the series. Plotehole paradoxes! yeah, that's all this series has.

For some reason, Hamsterviel has escaped from prison (where he and his leroy army were locked up at the end of the movie Leroy and Stitch) and, for whatever reason, Gantu and Ruben (Experiment 625) have left the galatic armada and gone back to working for him with no real explanation. Not only that, but Hamsterviel is somehow able to gain possesion of all of Stitch's cousins whenever the writters decided, with no explanation aside from when he kidnapped sparky as to why they willingly work for him (sparky had a mind control device on his head) or why he doesn't just break out his Leroy army.

this goes on for both series, with no rhyme or reason. and season 2 reveals that, apparently, jumba made another experiment long before he started numbering them. Experiment 0, as they call him, is the one Stitch save the universe from because he tries to destroy it.

Season 3 (yes, there is a third season) is where one group of questions from the first episode of season 1 get answered, but a whole heap of new ones, not to mention new plotholes are added.

In this season, Yuna and Stitch move to live with Yuna's older cousin, Tigerlilly. However, despite their capture and re imprisonment at the end of season 1, Gantu, 625 and Hamterviel were still free in season 2 and are back again for season 3, only this time, Hamstervial is apparently working for some other big evil being, a female who's name escapes me at the moment and are trying to capture Stitch (when they spent the last two seasons trying to destroy him, but if i keep harping on that we'll be here all day) because of some energy battery jumba put inside him during his creation (which we knew nothing about til now, but whatever) and they do this by having somehow captured ALL of Stitch's cousins AGAIN, this time from right under the galactic armada's nose (their security really sucks with the amounts of times Hamsterviel has busted out if they can have 624 experiments stolen from them) and altering them, giving them new powers and mind controlling them at the same time.

Now, admittedly, this did make a few funny episodes, like the one where Ilastico turns Yuna into a dog, but it does not make up for all the plotholes.

And, finally, the biggest thing and only redeeming thing about season 3 (however little it can redeem itself) is that Lilo finally makes an appearance. She's all grown up and has her own daughter now, who looks just like she did when she first met Stitch. Apparently, when she got old enough for collage and had to leave for it, and Stitch and Jumba went of to go help the galactic armada, the two promised they'd meet up at the same place in 3 years.

But, when Stitch arrived, Lilo wasn't there. He waited, but she didn't come and he thought she'd abandoned him, so heartbroken, when on a joyride through the galaxy, leading to the events of episode 1 in season 1. But, what happened was Lilo had been late due to Nani, her sister giving birth and Lilo having to take care of her during that time.

She arrived a few hours after Stitch left and was just as heartbroken when all she found was the tiki necklace she'd given him sitting on a tree branch.

However, in this episode, Stitch and Lilo only meet up for the first time in years for a few minutes at the end, before she and her daughter have to board a plane to go home (wherever that is) but promises to come back and visit him.

That's my ranting on those two shows done for now, so on to other things.

I recently just noticed i've hit over 400 followers.

:rainbowderp::pinkiegasp:

I honestly never thought that would happen! :pinkiesad2: Thank you.

So, since i've passed 400 hundred, i've decided to do another Q&A. Feel free to ask me any questions you want and i will answer them one way or another.

Also, i am still unsure about who to make the family in my upcoming Foalfic, go here , so any ideas are welcomed for that (but post them in the comments on that blog and not this one, please).

And, finally, please remember that Emogak still needs our help so that she doesn't get sent back home, with no home to go to (go here).

That's all for now. So, if you'll excuse me, i must get back to working on chapter 23 of Living Nightmare

Well, Optimus Prime returning at the end of Season 3 was due to the thousands of complaints Hasbro recieved from kids and parents. But Galvatron's insanity was just disappointing, and ruined what could've been a very good villan. And the reason behind that was likely because they didn't want to give Rodimus an opponent on an equal playing field as him, like they did with Optimus v.s. Megatron. They also flanderized Grimlock into comedic relief, whereas in the first 2 seasons he and his fellow dinobots were the unofficial trump card of The Autobots.

And that Stich anime sounds like Japan butchering a good American product. The anime would've worked had it been a universe where Stich never met Lilo, and where the events of both the movie and the t.v. series never happened.

Just so you know it's Hot Rod not Hot Shot.

How much time do you spend on your stories?

From what I read, the main reason why the writers decided to kill of Optimus was the creative team working on the G.I. Joe movie were planning on doing the same thing to Duke, under the assumption that it would be a good idea to give a dramatic end to a character whose toy was being discontinued. However, due to production problems, the Transformers movie made it to theaters while Prime's death got them a lot of negative feedback while to G.I. Joe movie went direct to video and some last minute changes made it so the Duke ended up in a coma after being stabbed in the chest for the rest of the movie. What was something that bothered me about the movie was that the new leader of the Autobots was partly to blame for Optimus' death.
