I've been thinking on these thoughts for quite a long while now (almost a full decade, by this point
) and I've put it off many times, so, I'm putting it out to all of you.
as several of you know, along with being here on Fimfiction, I also have a Youtube channel that also is called Autum Breeze, where most of my content is just small vlogs and several reviews of movies/TV shows.
However, I also dabbled in Fic Readings for a brief time (I've literally only 3 of them up at all), which brings me to something I'm curious about.
Would any of you be interested in hearing a reading of my journals from my time traveling in Japan back in 2012?
I originally planned on doing a single video talking about it, that would've had the thumbnail with my OC in a kimono as you see below.
Now, whether the thumbnail would be the same with the wording just slightly different or not, I still haven't decided. But, again, that's where you all come in.
Would you like me to do a reading of my journals, so you can hear what it was like for me when I went on my first trip outside my home country and my experiences there?
To be clear, each day would be it's own entry, I would not be lumping several days into one video. Each video would be for as long as it takes me to read through each day.
Now, keep in mind, I would be mostly reading each entry exactly as it is written. Whether or not things mentioned in each day are old news or irrelevant now due to almost a decade having past since they were written (for example, Yugioh Zexal had just recently started airing in Japan at the time so I had no clue which series it was when I saw artwork for it and that reflects in my writing) but I will update a few things here and there that I did figure out while in Japan itself but never had the time to redo the entries.
there are also some things I will leave out as I don't really like talking about those parts anymore.
Granted, you wouldn't actually know which parts are me correcting myself and which are 100% the naïve Autum I was back then, but you get the idea.
I have been sitting on this project for quite some time as I couldn't quite figure out how I was going to pull it off, as doing audio recordings for things has become far more challenging for me over the years (hence why I've only 3 fic readings on my channel at all) and so I could never figure out the best way to do a vlog about my time in Japan.
recently, I think I've come up with a good substitute to my original plans, but it would mean nothing if no one was actually interested in the first place.

sorry for no fic updates today (and likely not tomorrow either).
things kind of piled up on me this week and, while I've finished everything I immediately needed to, I just don't have the will to try writing right now, so you'll have to bare with me until I can find the time to really sit down, think and have the energy to push through my writing.
Several fics in particular are going through a baseline story change as 1, I can't properly remember the exact original plans for the stories and, 2, there's a lot of things established in season 9 that I can't just ignore in those fanfics without it feeling forced.
granted, none of the already existing chapters will be going through any heavy changes, simply future chapters revealing things that were unrealized but can still exist within those fanfics.
For example, as a little non-spoiler nugget hint: In My Unexpected Life as A Changeling's Wife, Soarin and Spitfire have been lying about something. something they've worked long and hard to make sure nopony finds out, but everypony will, all thanks to a certain pink pony and her fathers' actions.
Exactly what they've been hiding and how it will be revealed, you'll have to wait and see.
anyway, like I said already, let me know in the comments whether you'd be interested in listening to me doing readings of each journal entry of my Japan Vacation in 2012. I think we all could use something nice to think about.

FORGET canon. Write as you want. Many things went to poop with the updates. I mean, what reason for there to be alicorns if they aren't EVEN STRONG?! What's the bloody use? Next are changelings. PLEASE don't write the crayonlings into the story. What about that BORKEN promise that "Twilight will not outlive her friends"?! What's up with that?! She grows as Celestia, her friends start to SIMPLY grow OLD. Too much idiocy in the show, don't follow it. If you want, we can PM each other and check for better ideas, if you want. I REFUSE to count the show as canon at this point.
