Just a thought. · 2:58pm Jan 2nd, 2015
Hi all!
Since Obsession and Regression is still getting some attention (plus the spin-off was fun to write), and my ideas for stories like that aren't dead... Say I were thinking about another O&R-style story, where Buttercup (or a Buttercup-like pony) gets her hooves into another pony -- mare, filly, colt, or stallion. Who would you like to see? It can be more than one pony
Personally, I'm thinking Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Fluttershy, Applejack, Derpy Hooves, Pinkie Pie, or unicorn Twilight Sparkle (the one that was still uncertain about her path in life). All have a certain aspect to their personalities (or in the case of Derpy Hooves, projected personality) that would be fun to regress and have Buttercup dominate.
Ideas, thoughts, feelings, opinions; welcome! Obsession and Regression wasn't your thing, please pass this blog post up.
Peace
Have it be a Stallion to be regressed. So she'll have to use charm to control him or try to.
I would pick pinkie since I like to see her suffer hey we all like to see our favorite characters go through hell.

Not a bad idea. Buttercup's got an ambiguous enough of a sexuality it could work (she's supposed to be a filly fooler, but with hetrosexual tenancies). Thanks for the idea

I like the way you think
2695783 Could be a colt that is going through puberty if you want to keep that part of the character.

Thanks!
Yea i would like to see a staillon regressed lol
I dont know, the story was a bit...forced at bit. Wasn't so much regresion as drugged to stupidity which kind of ruined the whole dominating part.
oh yeah forgot the KILLED 3 others before dash was sucked into the mix.

Oh, they killed more than a few... it's just that's all that got found
Also, thanks for the criticism. It was a pretty early story, granted, and I had a lot of fun writing it. Looking back, there are elements I'm not happy with and probably would have handled differently if I wrote it now, but it's that way for many people who look back on their works. On a site like this, where people host their own ideas and creations in a community, someone's always going to find a shortcoming or two in what you do, and that's totally cool
May I ask, if you're up to it, how it came across forced? While I can probably see an element or two of what you're talking about already, it might help improve my techniques in story telling for the future. You can PM me if you'd prefer... if you've got the time and all.
Also, if you're up to naming a character or two you'd like to see regressed, or sending an idea my way, I'm totally open. If not, that's okay. Peace out
Spike DO SPIKE!

Probably not. Prefer to stick to ponies. Nice idea, though
2699137 Do pony Spike! or Twilight.

Unicorn Twilight is a possibility

Hhmm, that is a tricky question to answer. To condemn a character to a sweetened version of hell. That is not something one should take lightly.
I would like to see another O & R style story to come out at some point. One question I would have is whether or not this would follow another story or be in its own continuity(Such as following Doppelganger or not). The characters that I would like to see involved in such a situation would be(in order of preference):
Twilight - Twilight would certainly reject the idea of someone trying to control her, rejecting the idea of not doing anything for herself. There is the idea that she would relish the idea of not having control, which is a popular idea. Regardless of that idea or not, Twilight would be someone to watch.
Pinkie Pie- As with Pinkie, it could either be taken as her seeing it as a game at first, or her reacting badly and going Pinkimenia(I personally think show style would be nicer than murder version) in the process. Buttercup dealing with someone who either basically goes crazy or someone that completely withdraws into themselves would be difficult to deal with and 'train'.
Those are just a couple of thoughts that I have on the matter. Just do what you think is appropriate.
