The colour grey is really getting on my nerves this winter. Well not just this winter, I suppose it's a constant annoyance where I live in the Snowdonia (not a bloody spelling mistake google, so shut up. Look it up) most of the year round. I began to notice this during summer this year. Now I'm not an active person. I'll get up as late as possible, meaning I get a more or less nocturnal lifestyle during any holidays. So I rarely get to see the sun. Or the grey skies for that matter.
But when there is no clouds, I can appreciate the moonlight. I can also appreciate a nice sunset too.
I know it's not a major problem. But it really depresses me. Whenever I'm at school, day in day out all I see is grey. Metaphorically as well as physically. The people just rattle on about gossip, taking a point that may have at one point been interesting and ruining it, making me wish that I was away. Now sometimes I'm able to slink off into the hall, and watch my friend play the piano. But those events are few and far between.
I remember one day where I looked into the sky, and saw one patch of blue. I quite literally burst into tears at seeing such beauty.
What I'm trying to say is. If this winter would bugger off, and we could get some summer. That'd be great.
Huh, this blogging thing is quite therapeutic isn't it?
