Has anyone here played tabletop games? Admittingly my only exposure to this was that I used to buy Lord of the Rings minatures from Games Workshop, to those who don't know one of the most sucessful companies centered around tabletop gaming, and painted them. Unfortuneatly I never found anyone nearby who I could learn how to play the game from so they just became toys I would mess around with by
Does anyone remember the Jim Henson Fantasy 'The Dark Crystal'? I watched it online a few years ago, a dark but charming film were all the characters were exteremly detailed puppets, featuring many unique and creative races (no humans) and each set hand designed to such a degree some of them can fool your eyes into thinking its a living breathing world. Just thought I'd post a little something to get everyone in the Christmas Spirit. Two songs which in my opinion really sum up the true meaning of Christmas, songs which I personally sang recently at a local concert last week. God bless us, everyone....
As we all know Friendship is Magic has certainly become a very popular and surprisingly successful cartoon, perhaps not on the level of shows like Animaniacs, Courage the Cowardly Dog, the Batman Animated Series and several others of that ilk, but certainly one of the more successful. And of course it gave rise to us, the Bronies, one of the most unlikely and unexpected fan groups to ever emerge
