Yeah--too bad, because she was adorbs and it's a great name. On the other hand, I don't know if it matters that much, especially from the comics.
I know everyone didn't like the art style for that one, but I thought it was just! so! cute!
Loopy for the win, the art style was really cute.
God I loved that issue, especially since it semi-canonized (as much as the comics ever can) that Dash isn't actually that bad at being a flight instructor.
You can still use it. Heck, you could even have the two Loop De Loops meet and comment on how they have the same name somehow if you want.
That moment when you realise you spend too much time on the internet: It didn't even cross my mind that Rainbow was taking the kid off for flight instruction (as opposed to... other things...) until someone in the comments pointed it out.
