Update (1/5/12)

Hooooooooooooooooooly crap have I not posted in forever and left a lot of people in the dark...

Okay, so here's the deal. Between the holidays, my general lack of a desire to write, games to play, friends visiting and work, I've been sort of burnt out lately. But I should be clear now, I have no plans to ever 'stop' the story and flat out give up on this thing as a whole.

After a passing of a posting for it on EqD (Woven Right that is) it gave me a nice wake up call that I need some practice to get better with my writing. So the main thing I'm doing at the moment is waiting for things to calm down and not let myself be distracted.

So, here's my promise to my readers tracking me and the story:

I will be working on chapter two during my four day off work period next week. I'm off work monday to thursday so ONE of those days I will churn out chapter 2, that is a 'promise'. I will sit down here in front of this damn computer and do what I should have done days/weeks ago.

Also, my editor's back (been back actually) and he'll be making sure that nothing gets posted on here that is below common writing standards... I mean good god was my first draft full of a lot of problems.

So yeah, chapter 2 coming soon and hopefully I will be acquiring a laptop within the next few weeks which would be portability of my 'workstation' and perhaps the ability to write during my lunch breaks at work or at least ponder ideas for how to handle a chapter.

Thanks to the many who've subscribed in the recent weeks by the way, I know I haven't done much updating or anything but it still gives me the warm fuzzies and whatnot to see that people appear to like the story enough to want to track it and keep up to date on it.
