Okay, so I was watching the new Kids React video, which was Kids React To MMPR. First off, fuck you, you little shits! You don't know what the fuck you're talking about! I'll fucking fuck you all in your little fucking eye sockets, you keep dissing my Power Rangers!!
But more importantly, it made me realize that I don't think I have ever seen a Power Rangers crossover! Why?! We can have twenty-goddamn Halo crossovers, but not one for the single greatest kids show of all time?! Someone needs to write this! Hell, I even got is cast for you! Firstly, it can't be the Mane Six, because it specifically calls for "Five teenagers with attitude." So, we go with a fic set in the near future, and we cast:
Apple Bloom as the Red Ranger, because she's the leader.
Sweetie Belle as the Pink Ranger, because she's the prissy one.
Scootaloo as the Black Ranger, because she's the cool, hip one.
Featherweight as the Blue Ranger, because he's the skinny, nerdy one.
Pipsqueak as the Yellow Ranger, because he's the obligatory foreign one.
Babs Seed as the Green Ranger, because she starts as a villain, but is saved by the Rangers and turns into a good guy.
Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon as Bulk and Skull, because they're one-dimensional and annoying.
Twilight Sparkle as Zordon, because she's the wise leader who detects threats and gives sage advice.
Spike as Alpha Five, because while he's kind of annoying, he's a valued and oft-forgotten member of the team.
King Sombra as Lord Zed, because he's got a gravely voice and wants to rule the world.
It practically writes itself, people!! I would write it, but I fail at even writing reviews for FOB Equestria these days. My writing mojo may be all tapped, but dammit if I can't still come up with ideas. Someone write this. NOW!!!

Not really directly related, but I finally tried watching Japanese Spiderman, which is a Toei-backed Power Rangers Spiderman show from the 80's, and it is completely fucking amazing.
Only place I know to watch it is on, of all places, TV.com, so just Google for "Japanese Spiderman" and behold the true batshit wonder of a spiderman Super Sentai show.

Compare the rangers to skin color. Red is native, yellow is asian, black is black, then pink and blue are white girl and boy respectively. Someone pointed that out to me a few months back and I had to go back and check.

You kids! Here in Brazil we used to watch the original super sentai shows, with the original Japanese actors, not American ones. It was a sad day when they were replaced by American-edited versions due to contractual rules that prevented Western countries from purchasing the original Japanese shows anymore. ...Has anyone offered to write this yet, cause I'd certainly be interested in giving it a try. I loved the Power Rangers as a kid (I still have all of the megazords and action figures in the attic) and with my favourite pony being the leader.
