Hey everybody, it's DiscordDraconequus, and welcome back to Mane Six Main Sins, a study of ponies at their worst. Today we'll be talking about Rarity. Rarity's biggest flaw is the most ironic one ever. The Element of Generosity's main vice is Greed. Seriously, who steals from a dragon's hoard while trying to convince it to leave? And let's not forget that her biggest fear is her friends leaving her for a more generous pony. Rarity is, in essence, her own antithesis.

I think this is actually why Spike likes her, she's a contradiction, she's generous yet greedy, vain, and yet willing to mar her own appearance for a the sake of others, she's beautiful on the inside and the outside. Much like a dragon, and yet like a pony. It fascinates him.
