    A truly momentous occasion.

Hello everypony. How have y'all been doing? In all honesty, things have been pretty complicated/stressful/frustrating here on my end for more reasons than one. However, I'm writing this post to let y'all know about a major milestone we've accomplished: The Needs Of The Many, my first entry in the Guardian Of Equestria Saga, has, just today, reached 100 upvotes. I can't begin to express how

    It's coming!!!

Hey everypony. Long time no hear. Well, these past few months, I've been busy with trying to complete the redraft for my story I'm looking to get published. That redraft is now complete and I'm going through the many steps of getting it ready for publication. This includes setting up a website, building an online platform, hiring sensitivity readers, beta readers, editors, all that good

    Touching birthday moment

Hey everypony. As many of you might know, today was my birthday and it was definitely pretty packed with my AGT audition (which I believe went quite well after suffering a couple of hiccups in the earlier preparation stages that came before) and hanging out with my family. That being said, it was all quite enjoyable, but I wanted to take this moment to drop a brief little birthday story here

    Another Story Finished

Hey Everypony. How're y'all doin? It's been several months since I last posted one of these blog entries and quite a bit has happened in that time. We briefly had a co-manager at work for several weeks, but she ultimately left because she couldn't put up with the current manager's bullshit anymore. I've also been busy with some preparations for the upcoming holidays. Just a few days ago, I

    It's been soo long

Hey Everypony.  Happy Saturday to all of you and, to my fellow American brethren, Happy Independence Day.  It’s been quite a while since I published the final chapter of my latest story and even longer since I’ve last posted one of these Blog entries.  A lot has happened lately with the whole pandemic, social distancing, and even some businesses trying to get back on their feet over the past few

Once Upon A Time/Snowdrop similarities · 1:53am Dec 4th, 2014

So as a fan of Once Upon A Time, I was watching the most recent episode and couldn't help thinking of Snowdrop during one part in particular. Note this is heavy on spoilers so if you haven't seen either the most recent episode or even Snowdrop (which why would you not have seen Snowdrop?) then please navigate away from this page. For the rest of you, feel free to read on. So in the most recent episode Anna and Kristoff are thawed out back in Arendelle when the Snow Queen is about to unleash the Spell of Shattered Sight on Storybrooke and the 2 of them go on the search for a wishing star statue that Anna and Elsa's parents sought out. They seek help from Blackbeard who backstabs them for Hans who has them put in a chest and tossed into the sea. Meanwhile, in Storybrooke, Elsa is still trying to find her sister and so she has a locator spell placed on a snowflake necklace that was Anna's. The necklace glows brightly as it leads Elsa and Emma to the beach before it goes dead. Elsa believing Anna is dead pours out her soul to her sister saying how she wishes that she could've seen her again. This causes the chest that Anna and Kristoff were in to be magically summoned onto the beach where the sisters are reunited, both confused as to how this happened before Anna realizes that her snowflake necklace was the wishing star.. Seeing this episode, it made me think of the similarity to Snowdrop where Snowdrop shows up at the Spring Sunrise Ceremony with what would become the first snowflake. She refers to it as a star. More specifically "a Star for Winter". She then goes on to talk about how winter is still important despite the fact that no pony seems to like it and how maybe they need to make wishes on snow like they do with stars in order to have a happy winter.. Considering Snowdrop came out a year and 9 months ago approximately, I couldn't help but wonder "Did Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz get inspired by Snowdrop to put that in that OUAT episode?" What do you guys think? Feel free to leave your thoughts below and my final chapter should be up within the next 2-2 1/2 weeks or so.
