Oneshots might not be bad after all · 6:27pm Dec 3rd, 2014
So in my previous blog, I commented about how I'm planning to write a new adventure fic instead of the oneshots I usually wrote.
However, lately, I've been feeling a spark to write little slice of lifes, which might be my favorite genre.
I usually aim for the innocent, cute and warm feeling when writing a oneshot as some of you might remember from Rarity's Bad Mane Day or She Came in Through the Bathroom Window.
That said, it's not that I'm just focusing on the adventure fic. I'm still trying to brainstorm ideas around it. I like the mystery genre, so expect it to be about a big mystery. That kind of plot requires some good time of planning and preparation, so bear with me. The point is that I want to get back to writing soon, and I'm thinking in doing so with oneshots, while working on the big story.
Slice of lifes, comedy, maybe romance. Or even a dark one. There's just too many things I could come up it after all this time.
Inspiration from games, from S4, etc. You might also have noticed how I like to name my stories after Beatles songs or whatever. Truth is, I'm not very creative with titles, so I just like to borrow titles from other stuff and create a different story around that title.
With that said, the main concept for my fic is planned:
Twilight Sparkle and the Curious Village
Again, thanks to anyone who still drops by. I promise I'll deliver a story when the time is right.
Thanks for reading
Seems like an interesting story idea!
