    It's late

But my brain isn't quiet. I'm stoned out of my goddamn gourd. Don't worry, it is just my usual regimen of drugs. That's how I spent a lot of my time now. Wasted. Doesn't really help with the pain much, but makes it a bit more tolerable. All of my drugs cost over 5 grand a month. That's what it takes to keep me going. I'm in somewhat better shape because of all of it, and there's a few bright

    Cyborgification is potentially a-go

Finally found a doctor that didn't run screaming upon seeing my spine images and xrays. The team is coming together. Met with the neurosurgeon the other day, and he thinks I am an ideal candidate for augmentation. The transition is happening, I think. I still have to pass a psych evaluation and other steps, but I am closer now than ever. First I'll have the trial run; they'll sink electrodes into

I suppose it is time for an update

Been meaning to this, and I've become the King of Pro-Crasty Nation. I kept wanting to report, but there was nothing to report, no good news at all, so I just... didn't. Sorry. Went a bit silent on my end. It just sorta happened.

I finally got a lawyer willing to take up my case. After that, things started happening.

Banded mail barding · 2:47pm Nov 28th, 2014

Since I was asked by one person what this looked like, I figured I'd do a Horse Resource post and give everybody a good look. This is almost kinda sorta what Garlic Van der Grease is being outfitted with in Reflected Reflections. The plating and banding isn't nearly as extensive, but it is just about good enough to provide a little protection from harm.

ponders the barding............ has to be more to it than that with the ponies. they actually fight. the armor here is design to keep the enemy from getting any ideas and killing the horse.
i am actualyl rather surprised horses were even used to be honest. kill the horse and the knight will go down with it.

There is armor, but Garlic is TOO BIG for the common sizes of pegasus plate. Not to mention, Garlic is poor. Dirt poor. His mother and father both are farmers with no real money.

So his armor is kinda jury rigged. Oilcloth canvas with metal plates and bands.

When I say poor, I mean his parents live in extreme poverty. And they're not married.

2621723 armor seems to be something most pegasi would have trouble with to begin with. what with their specialty being flight most of the time. even a bit of their threat as warriors has to do with that strength mixed with momentum. even if they have the strength if the armor is not design right they will lose much of that momentum because of wind ressitant.

You'll notice in the story that Fogwalker's armor is a light thin plate. Nothing heavy. Basically, something that might or might not block a goblin axe from chopping down directly upon their spine.

2622009 if the goblins in this sotry are like those in lord of the rings, then likely it won't matter. shitty crafting and all.

2622068

Their small horrid little things mostly made up of nostril and booger.

Ogres though...

2622070 .....i always have been trying to figure out what kind of weaponry ponies would use, or how it is adapted.
best i have thought of so far is the grips of swords being shaped a certain way for being held in the mouth and the bit hammer.

2622303

Bah, would break teeth.

I once broke my hand using a splitting maul and chopping wood. I hit a knot.

Broke two fingers and several bones in my wrist.

2622323 our teeth are designed for eating. pony mouths are likely to have evolved as a appendage.
