Weekly Update Blog #27 (Thanksgiving Edition and More Old Art!) · 6:43am Nov 28th, 2014
Hello, everyone. First off, wish to start off with some bad news in that I've barely gotten any progress at all down for Reflection 24. Like only a working title and quote. I blame lab/written reports and grad school apps being due at damn near the same time.
Second... I may as well use this opportunity to give thanks to all of you. I know I do it at the end of every installment, but I just want to say... thank you. I can't tell you how much it brightens my day to see a comment on TLS, especially if it's in-depth and thoughtful critique, and you all know who you are. I know I've really slowed down this year due to a ton of stuff going on, and I really apologize for that. I'll try to pick up the pace once this last round of grad school apps blow through.
I also want to thank all the people who've pre-read my material at some point. Chief among them is Lazer726. You've been very helpful- more than you think- and I definitely appreciate that. My thanks also to Doomande, ErrantIndy, Kookamater (not on FimFic), Broadestpeak, Wirepony, Tofu, and TheBobulator as you all pre-read for me at some point. I crave feedback, and I appreciate the early first look before I put it all up.
This post's featured old art is this piece by Mylittlesheepy. Yes, it's a Christmas-themed commission. Yes, it was finished in April. Shaddup. It fits the current time. It also handily features the main characters of fics from the little author group I keep in regular contact with, including Mach from FoE: Outlaw being a drunken drunk, Inkwell from FoE: Rangers of Wintertrot being a tinker, Frosty Winds from FoE: Memories not helping the situation the slightest, and Riptide being a bit of a seapony out of water.
And Frost being a total grump of course.
And lastly... this week's preview music. Special occasion, so... special music.
Thank you all so much,
Adder1
That's okay, Adder. We didn't want to be mentioned anyway.
*sniff*
I'll go now. :P
2621205 Crap balls, I can't believe I forgot about that. I even had you both mentioned in the author's notes section. <w>
Added now. Sorry about that. ;w;
