One year ago to the day I sat down to watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - to be specific Season 4, episode 1 and 2. Well before that I'll tell you another story, which some of you might know.

Before I was a fan of MLP I used to be a yiffer/furry, which I enjoyed a lot. The hentai and furry fandoms alike provide some of the most versatile pornography in existence and I really enjoyed being a part of it.

The problem I found when scrolling through pages of horse hentai was this annoying MLP shit. Some pink pony with a strap on wapping up against some cyan pony and it didn't even look good. I was disgusted to say the least. As all inquisitive minds do though I followed the tags, related artists and websites until I got an appetite for the cute little ponies. I soon got some admiration for whatever it was but forgot about it after a bit. I never even thought it was the recent generation of the G3 ponies I had come across when I was younger.

So after a bit I was on youtube and decided to tap it in, I found that 360p post of season 1. After watching the first episode I was obliviously still a little cynical so I went and watched the other two seasons and the movie a short while later. By this time I avidly enthused in a way I'd never felt before. I loved the characters, the writing and especially the animation. *Praises the Faust*

I didn't know where to go from there, but I was vaguely aware of FanFiction. I started writing on my iPad and enjoyed making a new story out of the show's canon and wanted to make something that was convincingly show like. After posting the first two chapters I was staggered when almost 200 people had read my story within the first week. I guess that's what Season 4 hiatus does to people. I also decided to return the favor and read someone else's work. Just my luck that the first one I clicked belonged to DemonBrightSpirit an Incredibly talented author with ambitions to make it on EQD. We started chatting over PM and he edited for my stories and I proof read his new chapters. It was a nice partnership and I learned a lot about comma splicing and other literary principles that I wasn't aware of.

Then I heard about season 4. At this stage I'd already expended all the decent MLP youtube content as most people had and was just as excited for the new season as everyone else. It was about the same time that DBS told me about FiMFiction and how I should check it out sometime. Just for fun I decided to join the same day as the release of Season 4, and now I'm back to the start.

TL;DR

I have been on this site for one whole year.

In that time I've done some art, some commenting and occasionally been involved in something bigger than myself. I've enjoyed my time and I'd like to credit a ~~few~~ lot of people:
