Not one day after posting Shades of Night, an individual (Who shall remain unnamed) notified me that I stole the idea behind their story, and if I did not remove the story from this site, they will put in a report against my account and ask FIMFiction.net to remove it. As I do not wish the consequences to go any further (Banning my account), I will be deleting my story.
This sort of thing really irritates me. I am of the opinion that there is very little 'new' content in the world made after 1994 (When I was born, naturally). Just kidding, but I really do think that everything can easily be seen as a ripoff or copyright infringement. I looked over the case, and the individual.... actually does have some sound arguments. Enough to make me nervous.
SO! I am back to looking to make a new project, and hoping that it works out. I love all of my (20) followers, and I shall work twice as hard... no, twenty times as hard in the future to bring exciting shenanigans to the life of Steel Wing and Rainbow Dash, and hopefully come up with something unique and interesting in the future. I would like it if people would shoot me suggestions to my mail, but alternatively just leave a comment below. Thank you all for your understanding and patience.
I know this is old, but since the same thing is happening again, I still feel the need to point out nobody owns general story ideas, and unless you're directly plagiarizing the text itself, this other person has no leg to stand on.
