I doubt if any of you have guessed, but the tagged story here is one of my favorites on my list. I've been looking forward to having an update for it ever since I wrote the last chapter back in September. However, there were things I decided I wanted to include in this story which would require - bare minimum - knowing a few things more about where things would go.
So I thought I would be able to have an update sometime this week.
Unfortunately, the new episode of Hellsing Ultimate Abridged - what I was waiting for - came out today. It was, of course, hilarious and totally worth a year's wait.
However, there were a few characters I needed info on to write the next chapter. Of those characters, I got a sound effect and a two word line at the very end of the episode.

There likely won't be a new chapter till November 2015. Sorry about that. I'm likely as frustrated with this as anyone reading it.
Hehehehe, no worries, I completely understand. It's like how, despite having a rather good guess at how a comic would end (and actually turning out to be correct except for a small detail or two, mainly logical steps where I took a leap in logic), I decided to wait for it to actually end before approaching the artist/author about the possibility of using it as a base for a Time Loop for the Infinite Loops 'verse.
Perfectly understandable and acceptable. And thank you for reminding me of the next Hellsing Abridged installment.
Eh, from the Hellsing OVA series, you can get an idea for what Taka and crew are going to do. I knew the Major was coming, and moreover, I knew about Anderson making his appearance...the dialogue was gold, no lie, but for now, you CAN in fact likely take a guess as to how things will go with the source material. It's up to you...though I'll confess, either way I'll be watching this one many times and then likely marathon all 5 together for laughs.
IN all though, no worries, best of luck, and remember to have fun with it.

The original Hellsing Ultimate anime is too dark for me, so I'm only able to bring myself to watch with the Abridged version. Also, the manga I'm able to access only goes up to issue 7.
However, the two things I'm going to need to continue the story happen
1. At the very end of what I've reached with the manga
2. Post the end of issue 7
So I'm stuck.

...well...if you like, I can tell you in a way that might not scar you for life? Beyond that it's gunna be a long wait. In this case, I'd personally go with getting the spoilers then wait another year for another chapter. But then again, that's just me, it's your choice. Mind you, while dark as hell, I think I can act as a filter for the worst of it for you. And there is always Wikipedia, which can give you the cliff-notes.
Again, it's up to you, though I am gunna say this...Episode 8 onwards? ...gunna be so awesome your head will explode.

I am interested in the actual storyline of Abridged. However, there's only a couple details I'll need to get the next chapter written, specifically regarding how certain details occur.

I would offer myself as a co-writer, but I am already co-writer in another two pony stories (Unlucky seven and a Jewel of a problem). and I have noticed that the moon/dream themed pony tends to take a lot of space in that stories. So if you are fine with Luna helping batponies, I might help if you want. Also she already knows Scotaloo in canon, so it would fit.

Unfortunately, that won't help at all with this story.
The main issue is needing to know what will happen at certain points of Hellsing Ultimate Abridged, and new episodes of that only come out every Halloween.
