Hello and welcome my faithful readers...You've probably already guessed what this blog is about and most likely either rolling your eyes or wanting to strangle me 'cause I bring it up so much....Well, I'm bringing it up now.
Who do you think would be a good match for Commander Sev?
Whaaa?, you might be asking. "But aren't you pairing him with Lightning Dust?"
The answer: Possibly. They do become an 'item' by the meeting most assured. I can't write around that if I tried...but methinks I may have rushed something I didn't properly think through. That's how I started the pairing, more of 'hey, we need more pokemon shippings with ponies.... Lightning Dust?' Don't get me wrong, I'm starting to warm up to it myself. (The chapter before with Lightning had something to do with it. Maybe I just like writing tsunderes.) Of course, not all things last....It might still, but time will only tell.
I'm a shipper through and through. You've noticed Sev get attached to Cynthia as well. (I already have that scene played out in my head on how it's going to be. I just have to get to that day. Sorry people.) Maybe he'll win her.
Or maybe Terra the Mawile....CURSE YOU SMASHING, WITH YOUR CLEVER/FUN IDEAS!

Or maybe he'll get a little harem...Hey, if they can do it in a ton of anime, and pokemon is an anime, I can do it.

Pairing him with Terra is a wonderful idea, but sadly their love can never be...Unless it is a OMAKE chapter for the sake of their love.
But his options? I dont know, but a small, may I repeat small, part of me can see him draw the romantic attention of: Mew, Victini or a really good OC.
Mew is a lovable scamp who would without a doubt enjoy some of Sev's plans, like turning everyone pink with a Giant Laser. From what we have seen of Mew, she would be the one who would encourage Sev to be...Sev. To be he best leader, to bask in his enjoyment of each and every victory. At the same time, her millenias of wisdom will help her dissuade Sev (with the help of Lia) from his more dangerous schemes.
Victini. There is nothing I can say about this that the pokedex doesn't already cover. Sev would chase after her(the anime has never been clear on it) because of whoshe is. It would definitely be a challenge to make the relationship work, especially with Sev particular qualitites.
A good OC. Someone that can almost rival Sev himself.
All other shippings that I can think of can, and will destroy your entire storyline.
2531549 "Never" is not a word that can be used for Commander Sev. He has done and survived more than most.
Let's see:
-He's survived Groudon stomping on him.
-Was able to fire a catpult...into space, as to hitRayquaza, who blasted him at point blank.
-Found a way to get to the Distortion Realm at anytime. (Though he needs Gard to make it happen.)
-Actually was able to go head to head with Cynthia's pokemon. (Her Milotic proved to be a bit too crafty for the young commander.)
-He also found a self destruct button in a Team Rocket base.....Even though they never built one.
Accidentally traveled to a different world to get the 'Delcatty', some beautiful flowers and food. {Sev stole, I mean, was gifted them by the Blood Ravens.}
That's just name a few.
Besides, "never" to Sev means, "I haven't done it yet, fool!". He can get quite a few things done.

Shows up at the end of the meeting, begging for Celestia's forgiveness. Perhaps she sends the unicorn to help King Trokohaman and the PLA in Zebrica as a way to repent her crimes against Zebrica.
Maybe as a sign of goodwill, she allows Gard to show her travels in the alternate human world and her time as the Demonic Overlord of Canterlot High. The sight of such power makes Sev forget about Cynthia, turning his eyes back to pony kind.

Okay... I am not a shipper so I won't be of much use here.
First, I think Sev and Lighting make a cute couple on their own awkward way, and as interesting it would be for him falling for a former human, I don't see Cynthia retuning his felling any time soon.
Finally; although I do have to agree that Sunset could have been a better choice, as she could counterbalance Sev's ego with her own experiences. Only problem is that she lives at a whole dimension away.
Well, I woudn't paired him with Cynthia. Shy might kill him at some point if this happened.
Lightning? I don't know, They do not fit well together in my opinion.
The thing with Terra? Well.... That would be something I want to see.
Mind that I am still pretty behind with your story.
BTW. I am going to try to draw something. It should be ready until Sunday.

Kind off, at least inspired by it, But I might need to move it at least a week. (a fate of being a student, I am afraid) Still As soon as I am up to date with your story, I will start doing it.
I just want to warn you, I am just doing MLP:FiM-styled vector graphics, and I lack time, so do not expect anything great.
