So, my partner and I made an... interesting discovery today. A little over a year ago my amazingly twisted mate gave birth to what would become one of the most polarizing stories of its time, a dark twisted tale of jealousy and betrayal: "Broken Hearts and Diamonds". Also one of my fondest memories; trolling the comment section of that story while it was ongoing was one of the happiest times of my life, in no small part because it also served to bring the two of us together...
Anyway, It seems one of the many fanboys that was thrown into an epic rage by the ending of said shitstorm, one Lunar Deviant, has taken it upon himself (herself...? whatever...) to continue the story from before the punchline was delivered. The result is "Broken Hearts and Lives", a look at Hagity's life after 50 years of being forced to watch almost everypony she knew live and die without remembering that she even existed... No less than she deserves as far as I'm concerned, but still a compelling plot to follow, and fairly well-written as well... This "unofficial" "what-if" sequel officially gets the KrisProwler seal of approval. If any of you out there were fans of the original story, or just hate Rarity and want to revel in her continued suffering, give it a read.
