So, a bit of surprising news. Another of my stories made it up of Equestria After Dark, the other two being Breaking Blueblood, and Nonconsensual Spellcasting.
Now, I'm really not surprised that Buttonette, Button Mash made it; it's a pretty coherent clopfic, and the writing isn't abominable. Rather, I am surprised because I never submitted it. I hadn't known it had been suggested to that blog, nor had I known that it had been posted. "How, then, did Seven find out?" you might ask. Well, somebody commented this morning, mentioning a review they had written. So being the curious bugger that I am, I tried to e-stalk them, but couldn't find anything in their blogs or youtube channels. So I went to Buttonette, Button Mash's statistics, and found people had been coming to the story from a story posting on EqAD. Turns out, the story had been posted there yesterday.
Now, I'm not upset by this; I'm actually happy if more people find my stories and end up enjoying them. I'm a little bit hurt that nobody let me know that the story had been submitted, or had passed, but I'm not upset.
That being said, I'd like to ask something of you all. If you happen to submit or share one of my works on an external site such as EqAD, or somewhere where it may be exposed to critique [in fact, if it ever ends up in a critique group without my knowing] I'd love to know.
Hehe, EQaD doesn't seem to have too many standards, Seven. FeMale #1 made it up there before I'd done any editing to it to even clean it up... haha. Still, it does bring in some folks. Grats~
