So, it's finally happened. My computer is fucked. I've tried everything I can think of, but no matter what I do it seems to get worse. It takes me nearly half an hour to load a game, twenty minutes to open a webpage, and it took me almost an hour to watch a ten minute YouTube video. I'm really at a lost here, and if I can't fix my computer I'm going to need to... do... something. I don't have the money for a new one (even a cheap one), and I don't have the know-how to fix it. If it gets much worse I'll be reduced to writing my stories on my iPod, or going to the library to do it. Although I don't fancy having people around while I write my more... interesting scenes. It's gotten to the point where I can barely do anything besides listen to music, write my stories and browse the porn I've been hoarding over the years.
And trust me, even over a hundred gigs worth of it won't last me very long. I'm a very "active" person. (I don't have a special somepony, so it's up to me.)
But with Christmas coming, I might finally have enough to buy myself something nice. Between college and the leeches I live with, it's like I'm out of money before I even get any. I have about six hundred dollars saved up, and with any kind of luck, I'll get a nice chunk of money towards the holiday, and that'll let me build a new rig. It doesn't have to be pretty, I'd settle for being able to run DayZ with more than ten frames...
Have you tried malwarebytes
So much porn... That explains it, deleat some of your porn. I KNOW ITS HERESY! But its the only way you will be able to do anything, also get malwarbytes or whatever its called,
Mc afee or whatever is good too.
2507672 The porn is fine... I've had it installed far before any of this happened. But it all started when I began downloading things from the Skyrim Nexus. The mod I downloaded was the Uruk-Hia armor, then my computer began to crash, it slowed down, and nothing worked. It was slowing before that, but it was completely buggered when that was installed.
I'm running Malwarebytes as I type this, and so far it's found a few hundred things (mostly in my registry and "Filesystem") that could be hazardous to my computer. I'm hoping this will work, otherwise I'm just going to have to put everything important on my USB and completely wipe the computer of all files and everything on it.
