I was interviewed by the nice folks at the Royal Canterlot Library, where I gave a bunch of answers which seemed like a really good idea at the time! You can read it here.
Also, for the record, my answer to the question 'do you think there’s such a thing as a “bad” story concept?' was written before I saw the Simpsons/Family Guy crossover. Before.
No more happiness. Only darkness, now.
That interview is now one of my favorites. :D Well, Wild Horses takes my top spot for "best MLP fic all-time", so I guess it's fitting.
In the Simpson's defense, sometimes a good idea can be horribly obliterated in the production thereof. Case in point.
Can't sleep, clowns will eat me.
The thing I hate most about that crossover is the fact that I rely on the Simpsons almost as much as I rely on food, while I'm pretty sure that if hell exists and if I were to end up there, I would probably be forced to watch family guy for all eternity. Does a good thing and a bad thing cancel each other out? N o. Hell no.
I'm gonna go read that interview now
