So I started a one-shot about two days ago. Around 14 pages in, I realized it was going too slow. So, overnight, I started a different fic, and at 25+ pages it's going too fast.
One way or another, one of them is going up on the site either late Friday or early Saturday. I suspect it'll be the second one. Though I'm sure it doesn't matter. Judging by my manic attention to poniwords as of late, the digicosmos is doomed either way.

In the meantime, one fic made it to EqD. The submission process took a motherfucking two days. I don't know whether I'm bragging or screaming to the hills. I think I've been out of the game for too long.

Honestly, I think the EqD pre-readers—and don't quote me on this—but they probably have a list of certain authors that they know, know their shit, so they go to the top of the pile. It's probably not a form of cronyism or anything, more that, "So, we have five metric fucktons of fics to approve, most by authors we've never seen or barely kno... oh, hey! Short Skirts! Well, this one shouldn't take too long, so let's KNOCK IT OUT!!!"
