Wow, where'd that month go? c.c Seriously, August dragged on, and now all of a sudden it's almost October. What happen. D:
Well, it's been quite a month, anyway. Rainbow Rocks happened and filled me with warm fuzzies. :D It's actually a decent stand-in during this long stretch of No Poni. There was tons of drama (not related to the movie). I was pretty productive, too! We cried, cried at Laugh, Laugh, heard Those Awful Rumors 'Round Town and experienced Rainbow Rocks a whole week early thanks to ...And It Was Going So Well, Too... (Seriously, I got so much right. I'm great. :V)
If you liked that story, fyi, you should definitely check out Swarm of the Sentry, which features more riffing on Flash Sentry, and Twilight Sparkle Loses Her Wings and Cutie Mark Cancer if you want to see my take on various other major fandom events before they actually happened. (I guess that's my new Thing now. :B Joy.)
Hey, you guys like apples, right? Y'know, cuz ponies and all. :B
I just read Check Yourself Before You Tirek Yourself for no reason other than I like rereading my stupider stories now and then. What the hell was I on?
Anyway, things have been exciting around Presentland lately. I'm editing a fic for someone and getting paid for it, which is unspeakably awesome. :D I don't want to oversell things, but work on Epic Unicorn History Chapter 4 continues apace. Like, I'm writing more than a few paragraphs at a time. I'm still getting ridiculous amounts of ideas for stories, including an epic tale of romance and loss starring Fancy Pants's mother and a young Lightning Dust which I then immediately disregarded in favor of elevating an old stupid clopfic idea into a groundbreaking novel about trust, friendship, death, loss, love, and finding yourself based on Against Me!'s tremendous album Transgender Dysphoria Blues. It's been consuming my mind for the past three days. I'll probably never write it.
Oh, and on that note, I noted yesterday that it's been over a year since I last updated The Elements of Awesomery. This makes me tremendously sad. :( I'm sorry, I'll try and do another entry once EUH 4 is done. So probably never. I'm starting to wonder if I shouldn't cut my losses and just write what I feel like, though. Granted, I'm afraid that I'll get into something like TDB and write two chapters, then stop and do something else. I mean, I have to finish something eventually, right? D: #firstworldwriterproblems
Certainly not enough, that's what.
Seriously, though, I love Check Yourself
Although, Protopony's EG2 fic tickles my fancy in so many ways. Thank you for introducing my eyes to the cancer of his trollfics, it burns so good!

Ugh, yes I agree. September evaporated into nothingness, and I demand a refund. I was going to do things.

Excellent choice of image response, sir. :D
Getting paid to edit! In my book, that makes you nice and professional. Because that's literally the only different in my mind. So make sure to do a good job.

So far it's easy, because I'm going over stuff that's already been gone over once, catching up to the new stuff.
