It's ethereal but weird moreso than creepy. The key throughout the melody just isn't as discordant as I would expect.
Honestly? It reminds me of the wheat farm memory scenes from Gladiator which would make it more saddening than scary.

2479989 Yeah, it was indeed a Paulstretch. I also tried it out with the Ballad of the Crystal Ponies to interesting effect.
Paulstretch is an epic tool. When one extends a busy & bass-heavy 3 minute song to an hour long stretch, things can get pretty cool, albeit minimally so.
