You know, when I first wrote this story I thought I was going to get a ton of hate. It's a crossover over shipping, pairing Celestia with Smaug. I thought people were going to downvote me at every turn for even attempting it. (I still wrote it because I really, really wanted to do this story.)
But seeing you all here before me, ready to give this story a chance and even liking it...I don't know what to say. I mean, I just adore every second of it, especially the comments. (Seeings such great conversations and theories being bounced around is quite engaging. I might use some of them.)
I'd like to say thank you...and maybe ask what you like about this story, what you'd like to see, and exactly what made you want to give this a chance?...If I'm not being so bold.
Honestly? The sheer out-of-madness style that the fiction had.
Never would I have thrown MLP and LotR into the same pot. Some have.
Never would i have even dared to conceptualize throwing SMAUG, of all possible story and lore elements that series has, with MLP into the same story.
Then you took that, tweaked it a little for humor, and really nailed down that Smaug-tastically amazing writing.
While I must say that it is not the absolute best thing I have ever read, (no offense intended mate, but very few fanfictions I've read can actually match up to LotR or the Wheel of Time sets- I hold high standards) it is definitely written well enough for me to like and enjoy.
Personally, I give it an 8 outta 10. Good- great, even! But just not there yet.

Currently, I am putting together my own novel. My first attempt...was amateurish so I scrapped it. I decided to wait till I got better at writing before I tackled a new idea.
