Might be wise to reread The Last Sentinel a little...

Possibly from Reflection Nineteen: Blood and Water. Possibly before... say, next week.

    Just saying.

    It's been a while

This seems to be a regularly reoccurring thing with me.

First off, I wish to apologize to all my readers for the stupidly long delays between my stories' installments. I tried starting Off the Record as an attempt to get through the depressing sequence in The Last Sentinel, but using a new perspective is bringing challenges of its own. Seems to be familiar pattern.

    Update Blog #32

Hokay... time to just up and say it.

Although I've been looking forward to this current installment of TLS and I've had free time for about three weeks now, I barely wrote. It's just so goddamn depressing a point in the story that it really gets to me, and it just kills my motivation. Which is why I'd like to ask you all a question.

    Update Blog #31

Hokay... yeah, it's been a very, very long time, so I think it's time to say what's been going on. Because it's been over eight months since I've put something up, and I feel horrible for that.

Weekly Update Blog #22 · 4:18am Sep 15th, 2014

Alrighty, so after transferring the contents of my spiral notebook to the Reflection 23 document... I basically doubled its word count with what I wrote while on vacation. Changing out a scene and continuing to write, I'm sitting at around 10k words. The installment is roughly 1/2 or 2/3's of the way done.

Doing a lot better this week. My family went to a jazz festival today, and I listened to some really great music, primarily from this band. Their choice of music and the way Janet sings reminds me of some of the songs available on Galaxy Radio in Fallout 3. I loved them enough to purchase one of their CD's at the last minute, and I actually had the chance to meet Janet and talk to her a little. Needless to say, I squeed internally.

In other news, still playing World of Tanks quite a bit and getting back into Warframe once again. Probably going to be dialing that back when school starts up again October 2 so I can actually get more writing done.

Mailbox time! It's been a while, hasn't it? Alpharius IV asked "Here's a mailbox question for ya, what is you're playstyle in the fallout games and why? (Sneak, explosives, a combination etc)"

It depends, and here's why- I tend to play as fic or RP characters, adding or removing mods as necessary. New Vegas actually has a balisong mod that made playing as Frost all the sweeter, for instance. Now, me personally? If I'm playing as my ponysona Stormy Skies, I go the Unarmed-Sneak route, although I try to get some kind of rifle for distance work when possible. There's something just so satisfying about punching stuff to death.

Unless it's a Deathclaw. You're not punching those things to death without some seriously overpowered mods.

Now, before sending you off, I actually made a slight adjustment to the music in Reflection Eighteen: Signs. I can't believe I didn't think of looking up this kind of music before, but I found a new theme for the birthplace of the Age of Industry- Shropshire, Almarinia.

Lastly and as usual, I'll leave you with a musical preview before heading off... combined with the title of the next chapter, I hope you Whovians get at least some enjoyment out of next installment.

Until next time,

Good to hear you're doing better!
There's never really anything quite like live music to bring some joy back to... well, life in general I suppose.

Ahh yes, starting off with Who. This promises to be an interesting segment, for sure. Take 'yer time, we'll wait. It's worth it.

Unless you have far more self control than I usually do, ensure that your World of Tanks play time is limited. OR ELSE IT WILL ASSIMILATE YOU AND EVERYTHING YOU LOVE. Well, not really. But for a while last year it was the biggest time suck that I had, and it didn't help my homework completion skills at all. So yeah.

Damn, now I want to go play WoT.
