An Open Letter to My Little Dashie

Before you read this if you haven't read My Little Dashie you really should it's great.

Dear My Little Dashie

Why are you so popular? Not to take anything away from the credit you deserve but you really are very ordinary. Could it be that it is self insertion gold for the reader? The narrative being both in first person and the vague description of the main human character allowing bronies to insert themselves into the story like directioners can in a One Direction song? I honestly don't see the appeal of doing that. The brony in you is both miserable and selfish both of which I don't want to be, I guess what I am really asking is what are you? Is the brony an archetype? and most importantly can you take me to Equestria?
