Why StolenEarth/Journey End are my favorite Dalek Stories...of New Who

Okay so let me get this out of the way, like it says in the title this is my favorite Dalek Story of New Who, overall my favorite Dalek story is Genesis of the Daleks, but that's another blog for another day. Now why is this my favorite Dalek Story. Well lets set things up with the atmosphere. The atmosphere if one could describe it is, epic! This two party just has a certain gravitous to it, having all the Spin-off Doctor Who shows do a crossover with the main series, having all of the new companions together plus Sarah Jane (Can't go wrong with Sarah Jane) and Captain Jack (Love Captain Jack ) all together, is something wonderful.

Now the second reason I love it, is the Dalek introduction. This probably is the best way to introduce the Daleks I have every seen. That scene where everyone is listing to the Dalek message and their reactions when they here the words EX-TER-MIN-ATE! Is breathtaking. The way they look, the way they know what that is and what word implies. The way Jack just grabs hold of his friends and hugs him knowing their dead, knowing everyone is dead, since the Daleks are coming, and seeing all the ships flying down to earth and just attacking in full force with epic theme music (Probably the best music piece of the whole series hands down) just makes the Daleks the most threatening race in the Universe.

Now for the third reason I love this two parter. The Plan. Now this might split people but I love the Daleks plan, I'm a sucker for epic destroy the world plots, but the Daleks take it to the next level of crazy, they' re not going to destroy the world, they're not the universe, oh no...they're going to destroy REALITY ITSELF! Now that's epic.

And Finally the last reason I love Stolen Earth / Journey End ....Well, you know him, you love him and you love to hate him!

HE IS DAVROS! HE IS THE LORD AND CREATOR OF THE DALEKS!

Oh yeah, I love Davros, he is by far my favorite Doctor Who Villain of the entire series. Much like the Emperor from Star Wars his presence hoovers over the entire series. His legacy, the Daleks, continues to be a thorn in the Doctor's and the entire Universe's side. Davros in this is brilliant, his introduction is brilliant, the way the Doctor looks when hearing his voice, that look of pure fear, that look that knowing Davros is alive and that things just got a whole lot worse...it's wonderful. I love how cool and calculated Davros plays it with the Doctor only then to switch to completely insane almost as if he's getting aroused at the idea of destroying all reality, it just shows how far this man will go to see the Victory of the Daleks ;).

So yeah those are my reasons for liking the Two Parter yes I know the ending raps up a little to nicely but I don't care it's still a great episode and really good Dalek story in new Who.

Also, Davros (love his name), May appear in Capaldi's run, if the voice in the trailer was his.
