Well, that went well!

After the responses I've gotten so far from the community on my first fic, I think I can call it a success. Thank you so much, all of you that read, commented, and/or thumbs-up'd it. Or even if you thumbs-down'd! This experience has been very encouraging.

So encouraging, in fact, that I've already started writing on the next thing I intend to submit here. This next one will be a bit longer; maybe two or three chapters, and I would be really grateful if someone could get me in touch with a beta reader for it.
