People are Fucking Terrible · 4:55am Sep 6th, 2014
So as a few of you guys know, the area I live in is extremely secluded and rather removed from the rest of society, and as a result people have the insane notion that it's perfectly okay to drop off their rabid fucking dog where kids have to walk an entire fucking mile from the bus stop to get home. Long story short, I was attacked by a dog someone dropped off and I managed to kick the thing away from me before it tore me up too bad, for the most part it just broke the skin on the back of my leg from a bite that I managed to get away from before it got bad. I got home otherwise unhurt and called animal control, which in turn got the police involved after someone in my neighbourhood started firing at the dogs. When they found out I had gotten bit I was taken to the hospital and held for a while as they decided on whether or not to give me a rabies treatment, and then it turns out some cop shot the dog that bit me while animal control was trying to corral it and now I'm stuck with getting the full rabies treatment. On top of just getting off being sick as hell. And to make it stupider, I was outside because I was going to get homework from a friend because of the school I'd missed

Eh, I'm fine in all honesty, just pissed that someone would dump a dog like that where there's a shot load of children. And the shots aren't too terrible, the worst of it was when they stuck it in the wound but even then I only barely flinched, it was more like me grinding my teeth together in all actuality.

Nah, I think it's something more along the lines of me having a ridiculous tolerance for temperature and pain. My mum, step dad, and the doctor were telling me how bad it was gonna hurt, so it's not just you. Also, I didn't even realize the dog had broken the skin until my mum looked at where it bit me. Yeah, sometimes the whole pain tolerance thing doesn't work in my favour.
2431341 I once got bit by a rabid squirrel. Then I ate it, and got too drunk to try going to the hospital, which is a deadly amount of alcohol for a normal person, and I woke up with the worst hangover I've ever had, which you could compare to a typical hangover, and I went to school afterwards.
Good thing I have a chihuahua. And you said they shot the dog? Wouldn't that make animal activists get involved? Well, good luck on your treatment![:fluttershysad:](https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/fluttershysad.png)
2432048 Good, because it was delicious. Now, my dog Mouse just eats anything that looks like a threat to me. Except people, that is. Of course, he will tear off your leg if you kick him, but that's normal for Caucasian shepherds.

Well they had a reason to shoot the dog, it had tried to bite a human, meaning that it wasn't afraid to attack a human.
That sounds terrible.
Personally, I have a slight fear of dogs ever since a lady yelled at me for 'teasing' her dog. Hope you don't have rabies, and get better soon even though you're not really sick. ![](https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/heart.png)

I don't exactly have any true fears, I mean I'll see a spider or a snake or something and it's just like "Eh, as long as it doesn't bother me." And I'm cool with heights and needles as well, and I love to be in the dark so that about covers most of the fears a lot of people have. And I was sick all day Thursday and a little bit yesterday so the get well soon comment kind of applies still.
